Answer Calls on Behalf of Colleagues

You can now answer incoming calls on behalf of another user. If a colleague in your office is away from their desk or unable to pick up, you can step in seamlessly.

How It Works

When another user in your Webphone contacts receives an incoming call, a clear notification will appear on your screen displaying who is being called. You will then have the option to answer the call directly, allowing you to assist the caller even when your teammate is unavailable.

Administrative Control

We understand that different workplaces have different privacy requirements. To accommodate this, administrators can now configure a specific restriction within the settings of the User object in the PBX. This allows you to prevent other users from viewing or accepting incoming calls for a particular individual.

User Preferences

For individual users who prefer not to see their colleagues’ incoming activity, we have added a toggle in the Webphone settings. You can simply disable this feature to stop the display of other users' incoming calls.
