- ‘Settings’ tab > Global configuration > Signup and verification — new setting ‘Require utility bill or business confirmation’
- If turned on, customers will need to provide a utility bill (for personal accounts) or business documents (for business accounts), even after their identity has been successfully verified via Stripe
- New customer verification statuses:
- Utility bill / business registration required — this means that the customer has passed Stripe’s automated verification and now only needs to upload the last documents
- Utility bill / business registration submitted — this means that the customer has provided the documents and they need to be checked by the support team
