PBX Tab Configuration



PBX tabs allow you to segregate sections of your call flow. You may want to do this to build separate call flows for geographically dispersed offices, to separate different departments, if you have different business entities on the same account, or even just if your call flow is getting a bit crowded or is of a complex nature. 

New tabs can be created by pressing the + button at the top of the PBX page.

A new tab can be deleted by moving the mouse over it and clicking on the red cross. Double clicking the tab allows you to rename the additional tabs created. 

Each tab can have its own completely separate call flow, almost as if it were a separate account. You can also create links between each tab to allow a call to route between them. 

When two tabs are linked in the call flow, an object will appear on each tab, named after the other tab. Clicking on that will take you to the linked tab, and the link object will flash to highlight its location in the call flow.

Please note that at this point in time, individual objects cannot be moved between tabs without deleting and recreating those objects.

Finally don't forget to Apply the Configuration when any changes are made to the tabs or associated objects.
