Introduction
At the end of this article, you will be able to personalize the Microsoft Teams FQDN address used in the customer portal. It allows you to replace Voipcloud's domain on the portal. Should you need any assistance, feel free to contact our support department.
Procedure
The first step is to ensure your DNS records are pointing to VoIPcloud's servers. To achieve it, create a new record for your domain teams.resellerdomain.com, select NS as the record type, and enter the following values:
- ns1.voipcloud.online
- ns2.voipcloud.online
The image below shows an example of how the DNS record should be configured.
Next, it is necessary to obtain the certificates for "*.teams.resellerdomain.com", and configure them on VoIPcloud's side. Therefore, you shall request it from our team by sending an email to sales@au.voipcloud.online from your reseller's email address. Please note that the domain has to be configured on Microsoft 365 admin center as well.
Once it has been provisioned on our side, the new Microsoft 365 FQDN address should be displayed in the format "sbcXXXXX.teams.resellerdomain.com", as shown in the image below. Lastly, our team will send an email confirming that the configuration has been tested and applied to your reseller's account. Feel free to share our Microsoft Teams guide with customers to help them to configure it.
