What are the differences between agent commissions and customer rebates for the (Agent) referral system?

Agent commissions are commissions payable to the agents on your Channel Partner account. This can be set on an agent-by-agent basis or globally. All agents need to be active customers under your Channel Partner portal.

The payable commissions are set as a percentage value and relate to that percentage value of all invoices paid by accounts that this customer is an agent for.

Rebates are set as a percentage value and refer to the percentage discounts applied to invoices payable by child accounts that were referred from an agent.

Rebates can also be set globally or on an agent-by-agent basis.

Note: Commissions and rebates both cannot exceed 5%. Rebates are also paid using the pending commissions of your Channel Partner account. One agent may have many child referees accounts but each child referee account may only have one agent.
